Every detail at Syzygy Community House was chosen to complement the creative aesthetic. Inviting and warm, the workshop space features a sprung wood dance floor under a 17-foot ceiling that can be rigged for trapeze or aerial dance. A personal meditation loft with ample windows takes in the warm mountain sunlight above the entrance. The fully equipped kitchen has ample space for food preparation and community dining. The house has two bathrooms, one featuring a clawfoot bathtub and the other a spacious steam shower. The underground kiva connects the entire space to the earth for an intimate chanting and prayer experience. The House was designed in a contemplative fashion and green-built using photovoltaic solar electricity, hydronic solar heat, and passive solar. Bunk-style bedroom accommodations comfortably sleep up to 15 people. Upstairs, the northwest guest room opens to a spacious sundeck overlooking the meadow. It has four twin size, and one double bed, and a large walkin closet. The southwest guest room has two twin size beds, a dresser and a large closet. Downstairs, the ground floor guest room opens to the steam shower, and has one twin size bed, one double bed, and a full size futon.
